Arkansas State Requirements
- Vehicle Requirements
- Spill kit to be carried in vehicle
- Surfaces easily cleanable
- Must keep written exposure plan and spill procedure on vehicle
- Must keep manifest on vehicle until bio is removed at disposal or transfer site
- Permit no. decal, name and address, biohazard universal symbol signage on truck
- Cannot hold longer than 30 days at room temperature without consent from Department
- Cannot be taken off of truck unless it is at an authorized treatment or transfer facility
Manifest Requirements
- Kept on vehicle until waste is disposed of at disposal site, signed tracking form to be kept on file at corporate for 3 years
- Name, address of generator, transporter and med waste treatment, storage, transfer or disposal facility
- Quantity of material collected/disposed
- Date of collection by generator and date of disposal
Storage Requirements
- Cannot hold longer than 30 days at room temperature without consent from Department
- Separate area for storage marked with Biohazard Symbol or wording and “no unauthorized personnel” sign
